Steps
1. Replace the heatsink assembly into the slot in the palmrest assembly and connect the fan cable to the system board.
2. Replace the single M2x2.5 screw on the fan case and four M2x2.5 screws in sequence (1>2>3>4) securing the heatsink assembly to
the system board.
3. Replace the system board shield on top of the heatsink assembly.
Next steps
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
1. Replace and tighten the M2x2 screw on the SSD thermal plate.
