Ground fault (GFF)
When (one of) the output terminal(s) is grounded, short
circuit current is larger than Pr. 06-60 setting value, and
the detection time is longer than Pr. 06-61 time setting,
GFF occurs.
NOTE: the short circuit protection is provided for AC
motor drive protection, not to protect the user.
Action and Reset
Action level Pr. 06-60 (Default = 60%)
Action time Pr. 06-61 (Default = 0.10 sec.)
Fault treatment parameter N/A
Reset method Manual reset
Reset condition Reset in 5 sec. after the fault is cleared
Record Yes
Cause Corrective Actions
Motor burnout or aging insulation
occurred
Check the motor insulation value with megger. Replace the motor if the
insulation is poor.
Short circuit due to broken cable
Troubleshoot the short circuit.
Replace the cable.
Larger stray capacitance of the
cable and terminal
If the motor cable length exceeds 100m, decrease the setting value for carrier
frequency.
Take remedies to reduce stray capacitance.
Malfunction caused by interference
Verify the grounding and wiring of the communication circuit. It is recommended
to separate the communication circuit from the main circuit, or wire in 90 degree
for effective sufficient anti-interference performance.
Hardware failure
Cycle the power after checking the status of motor, cable and cable length. If
GFF still exists, return to the factory for repair.

IGBT short circuit
between upper bridge
and lower bridge (occ)
Short-circuit is detected between upper bridge and
lower bridge of the IGBT module
Action and Reset
Action level Hardware protection
Action time Immediately act
Fault treatment parameter N/A
Reset method Manual reset
Reset condition Reset in 5 sec. after the fault is cleared
Record Yes
Cause Corrective Actions
IGBT error
Check the motor wiring.
Cycle the power, if occ still exists, return to the factory for repair.
