Accessories and Adapters
The OpenPhone 63 and
OpenPhone 65 system telephones
have one or two slots on the rear for
various adapters and other accesso-
ries. Further information on install-
ing and operating these add-ons can
be found in the “OpenPhone 61, 63,
65” user guide under “Add-ons (with
& without an Adapter)”.
In the following you will find techni-
cal details on the add-ons and a list
of compatible accessories.

Adapter
The U
pn
adapter is an adapter with a
U
pn
port for connecting another
OpenPhone 61, 63, 65 system tele-
phone and a socket for an extra
plug-in power supply.

Please note: The U
pn
adapter
may be used only for connecting the
system terminals listed above. The

pn
extension cable must not exceed
30 m in length and must not be used
outdoors.

ply is required to operate combina-
tions of equipment with a power con-
sumption that exceeds the power
output of the U
pn
ports.
a/b Adapter
You can use an a/b adapter to con-
nect analogue terminals to the
OpenPhone 63 and OpenPhone 65
system telephones.
Connecting an a/b adapter will re-
sult in exceeding the feed perform-
ance of the U
pn
port, regardless of
the range. Therefore a plug-in power
supply must be additionally con-
nected to the a/b adapter.
