Switches on Front Panel
■ The bus termination resistors
for all the S

internal ports are
switchable.
Please note: In the factory set-
ting on delivery, the switches are
open, i.e. the termination resistors are
not switched on.
■ The internal S
0
bus is terminated
at one end (NT) by the
OpenCom 110/120 Rack with
100 Ω termination resistors; the
DIP switches below the respec-
tive RJ jacks are “on” (i.e. closed)
in the upper position.
Please note: Both S
0
bus
switches must be in the same posi-
tion.
■ The S
0
bus is terminated at both
ends with 100 Ω termination re-
sistors; the DIP switches below
the respective RJ jacks are “off”
(i.e. open) in the lower position.
■ The DIP switches on a/b port 1
are normally “on” (i.e. closed) in
the upper position. If the device
is set for the entrance intercom
port, the switches must be in the
lower position (“off”).
Scope of Delivery
■ Adapter cable RJ 45 - RS 232 for
V.24/COM interface
■ Screws for rack mounting
■ For complete installation the
country-specific installation
package is necessary. It contains
the power cord, a complete set
of manuals and a CD-ROM.
