Replace Bits
Replace bits when worn or damaged.
1. Slide bit puller tool (p/n 259-002) onto groove
in bit (shown).
2. Pull back on weight on bit puller tool to remove
bit.
3. Install new bit.
4. Check bit clearance. See “Check Bits” on
page 158.
Plow
Replace Sod Cutter and Blade
Replace worn sod cutter and plow blade as
needed.
Replace Plow Blade Pins and
Bushings
Check plow blade pins and bushings for wear and
replace as needed.
NOTICE: Operating plow with worn or missing
bushings will damage equipment.
