Variables
Note: Variables, neither global or local persist after a power cycle.
The Setup Variables screen allows variables to be set and named for inclusion

Add
Adds a new variable to the system. HELP_TAG_SetupExternalCodingDelete,1 HELP_TAG_SetupExternalCoding,1
(1) Enter the new variable name.
(2) Then the Value and click OK.
Configure
The configure option allows the values to be changed, click OK to enter the
value.
Note: The value of the variable may also be changed via a TCP/IP connection.
Coding
Coding allows a specified text file to be inserted into a message (.txt) and
printed line by line. The file may be stored on the controller or USB device.
Upload Coding File
Upload a specified text file via the controller USB device or remotely via the
communications setup if Remote is selected in Mode.
Delete Coding File
Deletes the specified coding file.
Note: ASCII/Unicode (UCS2) text files are allowed for coding. (No Excel files
etc.). Also, each line of the coding file must end with a carriage return
(CR) and a Line Feed (LF).
