Using the on-screen display
Gamma
Adjusts the brightness curve between light and dark areas of the monitor.
Backlight dimming
Selects the backlight dimming behavior.
When HDR is active, this setting defaults to ‘Local’, where individual zones of the backlight
are dimmed or brightened to increase the dynamic contrast between lighter and darker
areas of the image.
When HDR is not active, this setting defaults to ‘Off’, where the monitor does not adjust the
brightness of the backlight over time.
Aspect ratio
Selects the method used for displaying content below native resolution.
image upscaling behavior
Maintain aspect ratio
The image is scaled up as large as will fit on the
display, without deforming it. This is a common
default for TVs.
Pixel perfect
The image is scaled up by duplicating pixels at an
integer ratio, as large as will fit on the display. This
preserves the image quality of pixel art in retro
games.
Stretch to fill
The image is scaled up as large as will fit on the
display, even if that stretches the image.
1 : 1
The image is displayed exactly as per the input signal,
even if that only uses a small portion of the screen.
