Interstitial Level Sensor Float Switch
Part No. 30-0231-S
Interstitial Level Sensors (Figure 5-3) are used primarily in the interstitial
area of a steel double-walled tank. The sensor contains a float switch
that activates in the presence of a liquid. The sensor is constructed from
chemical-resistant non-metallic material. It can also be used in sumps,
dispenser pans and other locations where the presence of a liquid could
indicate that a leak has occurred. In the event of a break in the cable,
the system will activate the alarm.
This technology allows the SiteSentineiSite™ and VSmart Module to
automatically detect sensor connection, sensor type and sensor status,
will minimize user entry error and identify hardware issues with minimal
troubleshooting.
