Density Measurement Sensor (DMS)

The Density Measurement Sensor (DMS) (Figure 5-20) installs on the
pre-existing probe and continuously measures the average density of
the fuel in the tank. This provides a measure of even the smallest
change in product density within the API density range. Fuel-density
reports can be displayed real-time on the console or exported to an
external device. The readings can be either nominal or temperature-
corrected density.
