Troubleshooting
!!! 120 Breathing system failure The breathing system is not
correctly installed or has
leakage.
Check patient condition.
Check the breathing system.
Verify that the sensor port for
the O
2 sensor is sealed.
If the problem persists, use a
manual resuscitator.
When the case has been
completed, perform a sys-
tem test.
Check if the piston dia-
phragm is correctly inserted.
If the problem persists,
replace the breathing system.
!! 255 Breathing system failure The breathing system is not
correctly installed or has
leakage.
Check patient condition.
Check the breathing system.

If ventilation is impaired, use
a manual resuscitator.
When the case has been
completed, perform a sys-
tem test.
Check if the piston dia-
phragm is correctly inserted.
If the problem persists,
replace the breathing system.
!!! 255 Breathing system temp.
high?
The breathing system
warmer is faulty.
Check the inspiratory breath-
ing gas temperature as close
to the Y-piece as possible.
Remove breathing system
cover.
Use longer inspiratory hose.
Open the system setup and
turn off the breathing system
warmer.
If necessary, proceed as fol-
lows: -Turn off the device with
the main switch, then venti-
late the patient with the
breathing bag. Or -Discon-
nect the patient, then use a
manual resuscitator.
! 100 Breathing system warmer
failure
The breathing system
warmer is faulty.
Check breathing circuit for
condensation. Increase
fresh-gas flow if necessary.
