4.3 Before first operation
The breathing system must be reprocessed before the device is operated for the
first time. Perform the reprocessing in accordance with the reprocessing
instructions supplied with the product.
4.3.1 Inserting the O2 sensor cell
Before inserting the O2 sensor cell, make sure the date and time are correctly set
on the device. Otherwise, there may be errors in the lifespan monitoring of the
sensor cell.
If the device is equipped with an O
2 sensor, an O2 sensor cell must be inserted into
the O
2 sensor.
1. Remove the breathing system cover (1).
2. Turn the O
2 sensor (2) counterclockwise.
