III-1-8 SNMP
This page allows you to configure settings for SNMP and SNMPV3 services.
The SNMPv3 is more secure than SNMP through the authentication method (support e.g., MD5)
for the management needs.
Available settings are explained as follows:
Item Description
Enable
SNMPv1/SNMPv2c
Agent
Check it to enable this function.
Enable SNMPV3 Agent Check it to enable this function.
USM User USM means user-based security mode.
Type a username which will be used for authentication. The maximum
length of the text is limited to 23 characters.
Auth Algorithm Choose one of the encryption methods listed below as the
authentication algorithm.
Auth Password Type a password for authentication. The maximum length of the text
is limited to 23 characters.
Click OK to save these settings.
