Engine derating due to oil high
temperature
This function will the user when the engine oil
temperature of the vehicle is high and when the
“engine derating” mode is activated.
This function has 2 types of warnings:
●
pre-alarm that indicates that the engine
derating mode is about to be activated
●
alarm that indicates when the vehicle is derated
due to the high oil temperature
Pre-alarm (Fig 164)
In this case the instrument panel displays:
●
the indication “T-OIL”
●
the flashing indication “HI”
●
the symbol of the thermometer and the
currently set unit of measurement
●
the “generic error” warning light
●
the turning on of the “Over-Rev” warning lights
