When Messages Appear
Message Status and Solution
Status : When the perforation unit is installed or you select the JOB
that uses the perforation unit, you press the START key or
the TEST key.
Solution : Check if the option unit is correctly installed and then press
the STOP key or the TEST key to restart processing.
Status : When Apply shrinkage is set to ON, the trail crease position
is out of specifi cation.
Solution : Set Apply shrinkage to OFF or change the trail crease
position.
Status : When Apply shrinkage is set to ON, the lead crease
position is out of specifi cation.
Solution : Set Apply shrinkage to OFF or change the lead crease
position.
Status : When Apply shrinkage is set to ON, the trail cut position is
out of specifi cation.
Solution : Set Apply shrinkage to OFF or change the trail cut position.
Status : When Apply shrinkage is set to ON, the lead cut position is
out of specifi cation.
Solution : Set Apply shrinkage to OFF or change the lead cut
position.
Status : Cards are imposed at improper positions (within 67.0 mm
from the trail edge of the document).
Solution : Program a JOB so that cards smaller than 67.0 mm are not
imposed within 67 mm from the trail edge of the document.

Status : The fi nished product exceeds max fi nished size.
Solution : Program a JOB (set margin slit positions) so that the fi nished
width is within the specifi cations.

Status : Error occurred in the DC-616.
Solution : Turn off the power and then turn on again after a few
seconds.
If the same message appears, contact our service person.
