Troubleshooting
Message Status and Solution
Status : The machine failed to read REG mark.
Solution : Press the ST
OP key, then check REG mark position and
margin slitter position. If REG mark is not printed within the
specifi ed area, print it on appropriate position.
Status : Barcode error and REG mark error.
Solution : ●Press the STOP key and check the JOB.
●Press the STOP key and check that barcode and REG
mark are printed.
●Press the STOP key and check the position of barcode and
REG mark. If they are not printed within the specified area,
print them on appropriate positions.
Turn off the power and then turn on again after a few seconds.
If the same message appears, contact our service person.
Status : JOB requiring the gutter deflector is selected.
Solution : Set the gutter deflector.
When Read Barcode is set to ON, this message does not appear.
Status : JOB that does not use the gutter deflector is selected.
Solution : Clear the gutter deflector.
Status : The machine judges that the document cannot be fed
because the JOB was changed after reading barcode.
Solution : Set the option that is appropriate for the JOB and press the
ST
OP key.
Status : Check the perforation tool positions.
Solution : Check whether the tool positions are correct and press the
STOP key.
Status : The machine cannot perform JOB because of the false data
received from personal computer.
Solution : Check the JOB details and then press the STOP key.
