(3) Error messages
Displays error messages on the LCD when errors occur.
“Sheet Feeder Initializing.” : Displayed at power ON and during initialization when the door is closed.
“PAPER JAM” : Displayed when paper jam occurs. Displays the area of the jam at the
bottom.
“Door open” : Displayed when a door is open. Displays the opened door at the bottom.
(“Upper”, “Lower”, or “Bridge”)
“Paper empty” : Displayed when there is no paper on the paper feed tray. Displays the
empty tray at the bottom. (“A Tray” or “B Tray”)
“Feed miss” : Displayed when mis-feeding occurs. Displays the tray where mis-feeding
has occurred at the bottom. (“A Tray” or “B Tray”)
“EndMark Error” : Displayed when detection error related to the end mark occurs. Displays
the error details at the bottom.
“Double feed” : Displayed when double-feeding occurs. Displays the tray where double-
feeding has occurred at the bottom. (“A Tray” or “B Tray”)
“Finisher Error” : Displayed when error occurs in the downstream processing unit.
(4) Trouble message
“Malfunction” is displayed when problems of the machine occur.
