18-1. Correcting Paper Jamming
18. WHEN ERROR OCCURS
When paper jamming occurs, open the upper door, lower door, and bridge door and remove the
paper completely before resuming operation. If all of the doors are not opened and closed, the
paper-jam error message will not go off even if the jammed paper has been removed and
operations cannot be resumed. By opening and closing these doors, the machine will be
initialized.
Opening and closing the lower door
To open the lower door, pull up the lower door release lever. To close, slowly push the part indicated “PUSH” on the lower door
and close the door.
