13-7. Setting the Driving Time of Suction Belt
The driving time of the suction belt (paper feed clutch connecting time) can be set. If paper feed
errors occur frequently at standard value “2”, change the setting. When feeding long paper such
as A3 paper, set a long suction belt driving time. If below 300 mm (11.81"), set a short suction belt
driving time.

Turn the jog dial at the initial screen to display “Other Setting”, and press the jog dial to confirm
the setting.

Turn the jog dial to display “Feed Cl. Timing”, and press the jog dial to confirm the setting.

To change the suction belt driving time of the paper feeder A, turn the jog dial to display
“Clutch Timing A”, and press the jog dial to confirm the setting. To change that of the paper
feeder B, display “Clutch Timing B”, and press the jog dial to confirm the setting.

Turn the jog dial to display the desired value at the left edge, and press the jog dial to confirm
the setting. The values can be changed in 6 steps from “1 to 6”.
“1” is the shortest driving time and “6” is the longest. The standard value is “2”.

13-8. Setting the Subtraction Processing and Addition Processing
Select whether to display the number of processed sets or number of remaining sets at the initial
screen of the LCD.

the setting.

Turn the jog dial to display “No. Of Sets”, and press the jog dial to confirm the setting.

To display the number of processed sets at the initial screen of the LCD, turn the jog dial to
display “Add” at the left edge, and press the jog dial to confirm the setting. To display the
number of remaining sets, display “Subtract” at the left edge, and press the jog dial to confirm
the setting.
