5.6 Conformity
The flame monitor has been developed, manufactured, tested and documented in
conformity with the applicable safety standards. Therefore, when the handling regula-
tions and safety-related instructions described for configuration, installation, desig-
nated operation and maintenance are observed, the device does not normally present
any risks of material damage or to human health.
The flame monitor also offers a high level of security and availability due to the use of
two microprocessors running in parallel, with the corresponding software and hard-
ware. The device hardware is designed in accordance with the EC Directive on elec-
tromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
