7.4 Opening and closing the housing
7.4.1 Removing the plug-in cover (housing M5/P2)
Any work carried out when the plug-in cover is open must be performed by a person
with electrical training (see section 2.3 Qualified personnel [}15]).
DANGER
Danger of death due to electric current!
An immediate danger of death exists in case of contact with live parts. Therefore:
Disconnect the flame monitor before removing the plug-in cover.
When doing so,
take into account both the flame monitor's supply voltage and the supply voltage of
the contact circuit.

Undo the two socket head screws (

).

Remove the plug-in cover (

).
If the plug-in cover sticks, the recesses can be used to lift off the plug-in cover using a
socket head wrench.
7.4.2 Screwing down the plug-in cover (housing M5/P2)
1.
Re-grease the seal in the plug-in cover if necessary, using a silicone-free grease
(e.g. FESTO LUB-MS6 or Mobiltemp SHC 100). Plug-in covers need sufficiently
greased seals in order to be pushed into the ring groove in the cover.
