4.7 Winding the bobbin thread
The separate winder makes it possible to wind the hook threads separate-
ly from the sewing process.

To wind the bobbin thread:
1. Remove any thread remnants from the bobbin hub prior to winding.
2. Fit the thread reel on the thread reel holder.
3. Insert the thread through the hole (1) of the take-up arm.
4. Insert the thread in a wavelike manner through the guide (6).
5. Feed the thread counterclockwise through the bobbin thread
tensioner (2).
6. Wind some of the thread counterclockwise into the front and rear
reserve grooves of the bobbin hub (4).
