5. Raise the fabric sliding plate (4) at the front and swivel it out to the left.
6. Lift the machine head in the head cover area (2) and swivel it up care-
fully. The latch (5) locks into place as well.
The space below the stand is accessible for cleaning.

Hold on to the machine head until it is completely at rest when lowered.
