Machine function Identifies an equipment feature of a machine.
NC Abbreviation shown by the display:
Machine sews without number of stitches.
Needle cooling Dissipates thermal heat from the needle produced
during stitch creation.
Needle thread Identifies a thread that comes from the thread reel
and is fed by the needle.
Number of stitches Counts the stitches.
Parameter Numerical value that activates or sets a machine
function.
Piece counter Counts the number of sewing cycles run (quantity)
after the respective thread is cut.
Reduced speed The machine runs at a lower speed than that set
at the factory.

Reports that the hook thread bobbin is empty.
RS Abbreviation shown by the display:
See Reduced speed.
SC See Bobbin stitch counter.
Setpoint device Converts the values from the pedal into voltage
values.
Sewing backwards Sews over the same seam backwards.
Sewing foot lift Automatically lifts the sewing foot.
Sewing material Identifies the material to be sewn.
Sewing speed Mathematical product of the stitch length and
number of stitches.
Sewing without

Machine sews continuously.
Single bartack Indicates a seam with backward stitches only.
Soft start Machine starts at a lower speed.
Speed limitation See Reduced speed.
