The UPS transfers to Bypass mode and the critical load is immediately supplied by the bypass source. If
the bypass source is not available, the power processor remains on and an alarm sounds.
3. The UPS is now operating in Bypass mode and the BBYYPPAASSSS status indicator is illuminated.
The power module (PM) status indicates READY. The system is now on bypass and the UPS power
processor remains on.
Power is present inside the UPS cabinets.

To transfer the critical load to Normal mode:
1. Press the CCOONNTTRROOLLSS pushbutton on the main menu bar. The System Controls screen appears.
2. Press the NNOORRMMAALL pushbutton on the System Controls menu bar.
The UPS transfers to Normal mode. If the power processor is not available, the system remains on bypass
and an alarm sounds.
3. The UPS is now operating in Normal mode, and the NNOORRMMAALL status indicator is illuminated.
The power module (PM) status indicates ONLINE.

To transfer the critical load to Energy Saver mode:
NNOOTTEE The Energy Saver mode commands are displayed only if enabled at the factory or by an
Eaton Customer Service Engineer.
1. Press the CCOONNTTRROOLLSS pushbutton on the main menu bar. The System Status screen is displayed.
2. On the System Status screen, select the UUPPSS command.
3. Press the CCOONNTTRROOLLSS pushbutton on the System Status menu bar. The UPS Control Command screen is
displayed.
4. On the UPS Control Command screen, select GGOO TTOO EENNEERRGGYY SSAAVVEERR.
5. Press the SSEELLEECCTT pushbutton on the UPS Command menu bar.
The UPS transfers to Energy Saver mode and the critical load is immediately supplied by the bypass
source. If the bypass source is not available, the power module remains on and an alarm sounds.
The NNOORRMMAALL status indicator is lit. The UPS status indicates EENNEERRGGYY SSAAVVEERR. The bypass status
indicates OONN. The UPM status indicates OONNLLIINNEE. If the battery is not charging, the power module is off.
