Serial (RS-232) Communications
The parameters of the RS-232 serial port can be configured, if required, for a specific RS-232
device. However, for most applications use the default settings.

GSM Modem Communications
A GSM modem may be added allow the SC300 to send SMS alarm messages.

1. SC300 system controller

access to XS1 is restricted use a DB9
ribbon cable extension (Farnell part
number 869-6411).
