4-3 Inspectingfuelcapandfuelstrainer
1. Remove fuel cap.
2. Inspect fuel cap for cracks and gasket (A) for
cuts or damage, and replace with new one as re-
quired.
3. Replace connector (B) if damaged.
4. Pull fuel strainer (C) out from fuel tank using a
wire hook (D). Clean fuel strainer (C). Replace with
new one if defective or heavily soiled.
5. Reinstall fuel cap.

4-2 Replacingaircleanercoverlatch
1. Turn lifting hook (A) down to the end.
2. Unlatch air cleaner cover latch (B) with screw
driver or equivalent.
3. Turn up and remove air cleaner cover (C).
4. Remove air cleaner cover latch (B) from rear
handle.
5. Install air cleaner cover latch (B) to bar (D) on
rear handle as shown.
