The two relay outputs can be used, for example, to control a telephone dialling device. If an alarm with the
priority X1 or X2 is generated by any of the E*LDS components, the assigned relay output of the corresponding
priority is activated.
If the output was already active, this is deactivated for approx. 5 seconds and then activated again (changed
last-in alarming) if at least 5 minutes have elapsed since the last activation of the alarm output.
If 2 or more alarms occur within this wait time, the changed last-in alarming is postponed until the wait time has
elapsed. The respective alarm outputs are automatically deactivated again when e.g. after pressing the Horn
button (see chapter Menu 1 1 Alarms and messages), no alarms with the corresponding priority are contained
in the alarm list.
The alarm outputs are self-holding with time-delayed automatic alarm signalling in the event of power failure.
The current states of the outputs are maintained if the mains voltage of the controller is switched off for a short
time. If the controller remains switched off for longer than approx. 5 minutes (absence of voltage), both relay
outputs switch to the alarm state.
5.5.2 Multi-function relay AUX
Configuration
In addition to the prioritised Alarm relays PRIO1 / PRIO2 ones, the controller also has the changeover contact
AUX (terminals 15/16/18, see chapter Terminal assignment of the 230 V AC relay outputs).
The relay output can be configured via Menu 4-1-7 (Other) with any of the following parameters for these
functionalities:
