Not jumpered = factory settings (open): The position of a manual control switch acts directly on the
associated relay (ON/OFF/AUTOMATIC): the relays can be overridden manually.
Jumpered: For special functions, the position of a manual control switch has no effects on the associated
relay: only the controller can switch the relay.

Connection and wiring examples for energy, gas and water meters with a SIOX extension module:
Warning about dangerous electrical voltage! Attention: external voltage! The configuration of the
jumpers must always be performed when no voltage is present and with the connectors at the inputs
(terminals A1, A2/ ... /L1, L2) detached as a voltage of 230 V AC can be present at these terminals
under certain circumstances!
The digital inputs needed for this must be configured as 24 V DC/AC inputs using jumpers; see chapter
SIOX - configuration of the jumpers.
When using electronic meters, the settings with regard to their meter and transformer constants must
be taken into account, otherwise the controller produces incorrect energy evaluation due to incorrect
meter and transformer relationships!
