the beginning of the final rinse and once again before the drain opens) If the formula calls for no
chemicals in the final rinse, only one Signal #5 input is required to end the load.
If the first rinse signals are “skipped” by the user advancing the chart, a hard start triggered by Signal
#1 input in the following load will end the previous load and begin the new load.
For washers with “EMBEDDED Formulas” or multiple start points on the chart, the Signal #1 input for
starting a load should not be used. The first pump signaled in a formula (usually signal #2) should be
used to start the load. Unlike a microprocessor, the “Consecutive Wash Formula” chart program will
be the same for all classifications regardless of the formulas run. Only the start point for the formulas
will change. To record accurate start and stop times on these charts, all final rinse signals (Signal#5)
must be cut twice. All formulas will require either a pump volume or delay time for the first Signal #5 to
properly end each formula and reset Occurrences back to
Occurrences can be programmed to dispense the proper chemistry for each load class. Refer to
page 19 of the ECOJET / ECOSTAR 1500 User Interface Manual for procedures.
