Chapter 7 Analyzing and Editing ABP Data
When data is successfully transferred to your PC, the data analysis screen will open automatically.
To manually access this screen:
1. Open the Recorder DB. A patient list is displayed.
2. Enter patient ID or name in the search bar. If more than one study is conducted on this patient,
the studies are listed in chronological order.
3. Double click the study you want. The data analysis screen is displayed. You have the
following options.
7.1 Editing Patient Information
Patient information can be entered before or after data retrieval.
To edit patient information:
1. Click . Patient Info tab opens.
2. Edit any patient information except patient ID. Your modification is automatically saved
when you exit.
7.2 Data Table
You can delete or restore data in the data table.
To automatically delete abnormal data: Open the Day & Night BP Profile tab. Click
Threshold Setting. Reset the auto elimination threshold. Click OK. Your setting is saved.
The data exceeding the threshold will be deleted automatically.
To manually delete abnormal data: Double click the data. The data is marked with
and turns yellow. It will be excluded from the statistical analysis. Double click the data
again to restore it.
The systolic and diastolic BP that exceed the threshold will be displayed in red.
To customize the data table, click your right mouse button, and tick the item you want to show in
the table.
To see the posture of patient, click Posture in the upper right corner. Patient’s posture will also be
shown in the printout of data table.
To make a remark, double click the text box and type in.
7.3 Day & Night BP Profile
Display BP profile throughout the day and night. Additional parameter such as pulse rate is
recognized.
