12.5 - FOOD PROBE
Some models are equipped with a function of cooking temperature effected through a temperature probe.
The probe consists of an NTC sensor placed in a metal casing with an insulated and temperature resistant
cable.
This probe is inserted into food to be cooked (or immersed in the liquid container to be heated).
By varying the temperature of the food there will be a change in resistance of the probe (see Fig. 39), this
information is used by the electronics by comparing the temperature value set with that detected by the
probe and blocking the cooking when the temperature reading is equal to the set.
