Code 29: Telecontrol Code
Thetelecontrolcodeisdesignedtoenabletheusertoperformanumberoftasksviatheir
telephone.Usingthiscode,theusercancalltheirsystemtoarmanddisarm,turnonand
offHAunits,activateanddeactivatePGMoutput,cancelthesirenorestablishTwo‐Way
Audiocommunication.
Inpartitionedsystems:
The master code and the telecontrol code are assigned to full arming and to
bothpartitions.
The controlled, non‐controlled and limited codes can be assigned either to
partition1only, ortopartition2 only,ortothewholesystem.Thesecodescan
beusedforarming
anddisarming,accordingtotheirpartitionset.
Editing User Codes
User code editing is a feature that is available exclusively to the master code. To
maintainahighlevelofsecurity,keepallusercodesconfidential.
Toeditausercode:
1. Fromthemainmenuselect,UserCodes[4].
2. Selectthecodeyouwanttoedit;
3. Fromthe
code’ssub‐menu,selectEditCode;the4‐digitcodeisdisplayed
withthecursorflashingonthefirstdigit.
4. Editthecode.
5. Press;thenewcodeisstored inthememory.
Ifyouenteracodethatisidenticaltoanexistingusercode,theControlSystem
soundsanerrortoneandthenewcodeisnot accepted.0000isnotavaliduser
codeasthisvalueisusedtodeleteausercode.
Deleting User Codes
Asanadditionalsecuritymeasure,makecertainthatyoudeleteanyextracodesthatare
nolongerrequired.
Todeleteausercode:
1. Fromthemainmenuselect,UserCodes[4].
2. Selectthecodeyouwanttodelete;
3. Fromthecode’ssub‐menu,selectEditCode;the4
‐digitcodeisdisplayed
withthecursorflashingonthefirstdigit.
4. Enter0000.
5. Press;thecodeisdeleted.
Themastercodecannotbedeleted.
User Code Descriptors
Using the alphanumeric keypad on the front panel, you can edit the 16‐character user
codedescriptorsandenterthenameortitleoftheuserstowhomthecodeisallocated.
