To enter text, press a button repeatedly to scroll through the characters that appear
onthe button. Forexample, press 6MNO toenter M,N, O,or6respectively. Youcan
also use the 1 and 0 buttons to enter symbols . After you enter text, the cursor
automatically moves to the next character. Editing a descriptor, use the HA On
button to enter a space before the current character. Use the HA Off
button to
deletethecurrentcharacter.
Toeditausercodedescriptor:
1. Fromthemainmenu,selectUserCodes[4].
2. Selectacode.
3. Fromthecode’ssub‐menu,selectDescriptor.
4. Editthedescriptorusingthealphanumerickeypad.
User Code Partition Set
Inpartitionedsystems,controlled,non‐controlled,andlimitedcodes canbeassignedto
fullarming,partition1,partition2,ortobothpartitionsandfullarming.
ToprogramthePartitionsetoption:
1. Fromthemainmenu,selectUserCodes[4].
2. Selectacode.
3. Fromthecode’ssub‐menu,selectPartitionSet[#3];thecode’scurrent
PartitionSetsettingisdisplayed.
Whenyouassignacodetobothpartitions,assignittofullarmingalso.
Partition Set Description
123 (F) The user code is assigned to both partitions and full
arming.
2 (P1) The user code is assigned to partition 1.
3 (P2) The user code is assigned to partition 2.
4. Usethebuttons1,2and3totogglethecurrent setting,press3.
7.4. Follow-Me
The Follow‐Me feature is designed to notify the user that certain events have
occurred. Notification is made by SMS to your cellular phone or by opening a two‐
wayaudiochannel.
If using the TWA Follow‐Me feature, the audio channel is opened after alarm
eventsonly.
