Multi-Drop Communications
The RS-485 option (pins 4 and 9) is provided for multi-drop
configurations of up to 32 drives. EMERSON Motion Control
provides a special multi-drop serial cable which allows you to
easily connect two or more drives.

Note:
The terminating resistor packs, TERM-H
and TERM-T, should be installed on the
first (TERM-H) and last (TERM-T) drive in
the string if the total cable length is over
50 feet.
