Installing FMP40 with heat insulation
• If process temperatures are high, FMP40 must be included in normal tank insulation to prevent
the electronics heating up as a result of heat radiation or convection.
• The insulation may not exceed beyond the points labelled "MAX" in the drawing.

Installation at an angle
• For mechanical reasons, the probe should be
installed as vertically as possible.
• With inclined installations the probe length
has to be adjusted in dependence to the instal-
lation angle.
–up to 1m = 30°
–up to 2m = 10°
–up to 4m = 5°
