11.5 Function "unlock parameter" (0A4)
Set-up can be locked and unlocked with this function.
11.5.1 Locking of the configuration mode
The Levelflex can be protected in two ways against unauthorised changing of instrument data,
numerical values or factory settings:
"unlock parameter" (0A4):
A value <> 100 for HART (e.g. 99) or <> 2457 for PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION Field-
bus (e.g. 2456) must be entered in "unlock parameter" (0A4) in the "diagnostics" (0A) function
group. The lock is shown on the display by the
symbol and can be released again either via the
display or by communication.
Hardware lock:
The instrument is locked by pressing the
O and S and F keys at the same time.
The lock is shown on the display by the
symbol and can only be unlocked again
via the display by pressing the
O and S and F keys at the same time again. It is not possible to
unlock the hardware by communication.
All parameters can de displayed even if the instrument is locked.
