The External input submenu is only available on devices with PROFIBUS PA or
FOUNDATION Fieldbus.
Overview
The behavior of the sensor can be controlled via two external switch inputs: measurement
can be switched on and off. Furthermore, a specific value can be assigned to the level when
the digital switch signal is present, regardless of the actual filling height.
