TIME CONSTANT
! Note!
This function is not available unless one of the following was selected in the ASSIGN
STATUS function:
• FLOW DIRECTION
•LIMIT MASS FLOW
• LIMIT VOLUME FLOW
• LIMIT CORRECTED VOLUME FLOW
• LIMIT DENSITY
• LIMIT REFERENCE DENSITY
• LIMIT TEMPERATURE
Use this function to enter a time constant defining how the status output reacts to
severely fluctuating measured variables, either very quickly (enter a low time constant) or
with damping (enter a high time constant).
The purpose of damping, therefore, is to prevent the status output changing state
continuously in response to fluctuations in flow.
User input:
5-digit floating-point number: 0.00...100.00 s
Factory setting:
0.00 s
ACTUAL STATUS
OUTPUT
Use this function to check the current status of the status output.
Display:
NOT CONDUCTIVE
CONDUCTIVE
SIMULATION SWITCH
POINT
Use this function to activate simulation of the status output.
Options:
OFF
ON
Factory setting:
OFF
! Note!
• The “SIMULATION STATUS OUTPUT” message indicates that simulation is active.
• The measuring device continues to measure while simulation is in progress, i.e. the
current measured values are output correctly via the other outputs.
" Caution!
The setting is not saved if the power supply fails.
VALUE SIMULATION
SWITCH POINT
! Note!
This function is not available unless the ON setting was selected in the SIMULATION
SWITCH POINT function.
Use this function to define the switching response of the status output during the
simulation. This value is used to test downstream devices and the measuring device itself.
User input:
NOT CONDUCTIVE
CONDUCTIVE
Factory setting:
NOT CONDUCTIVE
" Caution!
The setting is not saved if the power supply fails.
