Rebreathing may occur when using a single limb circuit with intentional leak if the pressure
is too low for a given leak diameter.
holes at the mask or constant leaks at the vented interface port are not
obstructed.
Mouth piece with Single limb:
1. Attach any required accessories e.g. humidifier or filter
2. Connect the inspiratory tubing to the inspiratory port on the front of the device
3. According to the desired configuration, connect the proximal pressure line to the proximal
pressure port or connect the proximal free plug as shown below.
4. Select the Mouth Piece circuit type and patient type (adult/pediatric) in the menu and
perform a calibration.
