Color Mapping allows you to control the following six laser functions for each
color in the Map List:
Color – Select the color you want to use or modify.
Speed – Sets Raster speed and Vector speed for all objects of the color.
Power – Sets Raster power and Vector power for all objects of the color.
Freq.- Frequency is a parameter that is only used on vector objects. It will have
no effect on raster engraving. Color Mapping allows you to set different
frequencies for different vector colors within a single job setup.
Focus – Each increment of one will change the table height by 0.0005 inch
(0.0125 mm). A minus sign in front of the number, -.250 for example, will move
the table up (closer to the X-beam) by 1/8 inch (approx 3 mm). Because the
adjustment increments are so small it may be easier to think of the change as a
two digit change being equal to 0.001 inch.
Raster – Colors that are set to “Yes” will raster engrave at the speed and power
settings for that color. Colors that are set “No” will be prevented from raster
engraving.
Vector - Colors that are set to “Yes” will vector cut at the speed and power
settings for that color. Colors that are set “No” will be prevented from vector
cutting.
