Using Color Mapping
Setting up colors to be mapped is a very easy process. The color mapping tab is
separated into three functions:
1) The left side of the Advanced tab is
used for two purposes:
a. Creating new colors. Use
the slider bars to create any
RGB color.
b. Defining the values we want
to set for the color that has
been selected from the right
side of this tab. Defining the
values on the left side of the
tab does not actually change
the values. That is done with
the buttons in the middle of
the tab.
In this example we have defined the values
for this color to be 71 for Speed, 43 for
Power, 475 for Freq, Raster is unchecked,
so it is turned off, Vector is checked, so it
will be on.
Another way to think about the settings in this example is that the selected color will be a vector
only job, running at 71% Speed, 43% Power, 2500 Freq. and Focus offset by 0.140 inches.
