Basics of Printing
This section describes the basics of printing using the Windows printer driver (ESC/Page language) as an example.
Printing can also be done by similar procedures using other supported operating systems or emulation languages.
A
Load a stack of paper.
For available paper, see “Available Paper and Capacities” on page 37.
For how to load paper in the paper source, see “Loading Paper” on page 39.

Make the appropriate settings on the control panel.
The items to be set are different depending on the paper you use.

Click Print from the File menu on the application you are using.

Select your printer.

Click Properties or Printing Preferences. The printer driver's Main screen appears.

Make the settings in the table below:
Item Explanation
1 Paper Source Selects the paper source in which the paper to be printed is loaded.
2 Paper Size Selects the size of paper you set in applications.
3 Orientation Selects the orientation you set in applications.
