Problem
Solution
Power
is
not
being
supplied.
The
POWER
light
does
not
go
on.
The
POWER
light
comes
on
briefly
and
then
goes
off
The
light
stays
off
even
when
the
power
is
switched
on
again.
The
power
cable
may
be
loose
or
not
properly
plugged
into
the
electrical
outlet.
Turn
off
the
printer
and
check
the
power
cable
connections
between
the
printer
and
the
electrical
outlet.
The
power
switch
is
off.
Turn
switch.
on
the
Power
is
not
being
supplied
to
the
electrical
outlet.
Check
to
see
if
the
electrical
outlet
is
controlled
by
an
outside
switch
or
automatic
timer;
if
so,
use
a
different
outlet.
Plug
another
electrical
device
into
the
outlet
to
determine
whether
the
outlet
is
working
properly.
The
voltage
may
not
be
correct
for
your
printer.
Check
the
label
on
the
printer's
rear
panel
and
confirm
that
the
printer's
voltage
rating
matches
the
voltage
of
your
electrical
outlet.
If
the
voltages
do
not
match,
unplug
the
printer
and
contact
your
Epson
dealer
immediately.
Do
not
reconnect
the
power
cable
to
an
electrical
outlet.
Refer
to
1-15.
The
problem
may
lie
with
the
electrical
outlet.
Plug
another
electrical
device
into
the
outlet
to
determine
whether
the
outlet
is
operating
properly.
