missing
in
the
printed
characters
or
graphics.

missing

the

random
positions.

The
ri
bbon
may
be
worn
out.
A
worn
ri
bbon
can
damage
the
print
head
and
should
be
replaced.
Install
a
new
ri
bbon
cartridge
as
soon
as
possible.

The
paper
thickness
lever
may
not
be
set
correctly
for
the
paper
you
are
using.
Set
the
paper
thickness
lever
to
match
the
thickness
of
your
paper.

2-22.
The
print
head
is
damaged.
Stop
printing
and
contact
your
Epson
dealer
or
Epson
authorized
service
center
to
have
the
print
head
replaced.
There
is
either
too
much
slack
in
the
ri
bbon
or
the
ri
bbon
has
come
loose
and
caught
on
something.
Stop
printing,
turn
off
the
printer,
and
reinstall
the
ri
bbon
cartridge.
