RTC & USB ID Check 
& Adjustment
Check the current setting of the RTC and the USB ID 
using the Service Program. Write the correct information 
as needed.
If the adjustment is not executed, a maintenance 
error (RTC setting error) or USB recognition 
error occurs.

Serial Number Check 
& Input
Check the current setting of the serial number using the 
Service Program. Write the correct information as needed.
If the serial number is not input or the wrong 
number is set, it makes service management 
(such as the print/NVRAM) harder.

AID Function Check
Check if the AID function operates properly using the 
Service Program.
If the check is not executed, the dot missing 
detection by AID may not be executed properly 
and the increase of cleaning consumes the ink. 
Or, the cleaning may not be executed even with 
the occurrence of dot missing and it causes 
lower printing quality.

MAC Address Check 
& Input
Check the current setting of the MAC address using the 
Service Program. Write the correct information as needed.
If the address is not input or the wrong address is 
set, a network connection trouble occurs.

Communication Check
Check the USB connection and network connection of the 
printer using the Service Program.

Adjustment Value 
Reset
The number of executions to change the adjustment value 
is limited for the following functions.
•  Media Feed Correction Check & Adjustment
•  Media Eject Correction Check & Adjustment
•  PW + T&B&S Check & Adjustment (Top)
•  PW + T&B&S Check & Adjustment (Home Side)
•  PW + T&B&S Check & Adjustment (Full Side)
•  PW + T&B&S Check & Adjustment (Bottom) Value 
Reset
•  Cut Position Check & Adjustment 
Once it reaches the upper limit, the adjustment cannot be 
executed any more. Therefore, the adjustment value 
change history needs to be cleared from the Service 
Program.
If the adjustment value change history is not 
cleared, no more adjustment is available.

Default Reset
Reset the panel setting from the Control Panel, and reset 
the user job history from the Service Program.

Operation Panel Check 
(Buttons & LCD)
Check if buttons on the Control Panel and the LCD 
function correctly.

operation is not guaranteed.
