REMEDY FOR NO. 0010/4000
If the Maintenance Request No. 0010 or No. 4000 occurs, take the following measure according to the procedure below.
NOTE : There is a priority for occurrence of No. 0010 and No. 4000. Because No. 0010 has the priority, when both No. 0010 and No. 4000 occur at the same time, No. 4000 is not displayed,
but No. 0010 is displayed only. When the cause of No. 0010 is removed, No. 4000 is displayed then.

Communication with the AID Board is not established. Connection failure of FFC or FFC is broken.

Check the connection to the AID Board, and correct it if
any failure found.
The voltage applied to the Flushing Box does not reach
the specified level.
Due to accumulated ink and such around the Flushing
Box, the electric current is leaking.

Check around the Flushing Box, and remove accumulated
ink or dust if any. (Through accumulated ink or dust, the
electric current may leak.)

Replace the IS Unit. (See P.233)
High voltage power module in the AID Board is broken.

Replace the AID Board. (See P.165)
4000
It detects twice in a row that all the nozzles are clogging.
Printhead is broken.

Print the nozzle check pattern to check this. If all the
colors have nozzle clogging, replace the Printhead. (See
P.232)
Connection failure of AID cable or AID cable is broken.

Check the connection to the AID Board, and correct it if
any failure found.

Replace the IS Unit. (See P.233)
