Adjust the position of the pressure rollers.
The low pressure rollers are used for normal
printing, the high pressure rollers for ink
layering. Their positions vary with the width of
the media and the rollers used.
Position the low pressure rollers 5 mm and the
high pressure rollers 10 mm from the edges of the
media, keeping them in the bounds shown by the
black labels (see “Printable Area”).

Move unused rollers and rollers that can not be
positioned over the media to the sides of the black
labels.

Lower the media loading lever to hold the media
in place.
To print immediately, proceed to Step 19.

Note:
If you would prefer to print from the very start of the
roll, press the u button in the control panel to
rewind the media slightly.
Be sure, however, to stop rewinding before the
leading edge of the media is over the cutter groove
(on the pressure roller side).
