1-24 Setting Up the Printer
Notes:
When pin 6 of the interface connector is used for the reset signal,
the printer is reset at MARK on the RS-232 level.
When pin 25 of the interface connector is used for the reset signal,
the printer is reset at SPACE on the RS-232 level or at HIGH
on the TTL level.
DIP switches excluding switch 2-1 (Auto line feed) and switches
2-7 and 2-8 (interface reset signal) are effective only while the
printer power is turned on. If the DIP switch setting is changed
after the printer power is turned on, the change is not effective.
If DIP switch 2-7 or 2-8 is on while the printer power is turned
on, the printer may be reset, depending on the signal state. DIP
switches should not be operated while the printer power is
turned on.
