6. Disconnect the earthing conductor from the battery module.
7. Remove the bolts fixing the battery drawer (Fig. 45).

8. Use the belt to carefully slide out the battery drawer (Fig. 46).

Depending on the model of the battery module, the batteries are connected in series
(one battery's positive terminal connects to the next battery's negative terminal), in
packs of 2 or 4 batteries. The negative poles and the positive pole of a particular
pack of batteries should be connected, respectively, to collective "-" and "+"
terminals. The division into packs is shown in Table 4; Fig. 47 and Fig. 48,
respectively, present the method of connection.
CAUTION! The battery drawer slides out of the module's housing
completely. Exercise particular care when sliding it out as it is very
heavy.
