Installation of the UPS with a battery module (applies to SINLINE RT XL UPS
units)
To install the UPS with a battery module as a free-standing unit follow these steps:
1. Switch off the UPS and disconnect the power cord from the mains socket.
2. Assemble the feet kit supplied with the battery module (Fig. 16). The feet kit
for the UPS is not needed.

3. Place the battery module on a stable surface so that its bottom edge reaches
out the surface edge by approximately 6 cm.
4. Carefully place the UPS on the battery module so that the UPS unit's bottom
edge is aligned with the battery module's bottom edge (Fig. 17).

5. Use the supplied set of bolts to fix the assembled feet kit to the module (Fig.
18).
